Sync 4 in truck says automatic updates on but Ford Pass app says off

I have been trying to figure out how to fix this but can't find the necessary information. The Sync 4 in my truck shows automatic updates is on but the Ford Pass says off. I can't change it in the app either. Also, when I click update details in the truck, all it says is "Your system is up to date." Any ideas how to fix this?

ford pass does not control the trucks sync 4 updates
you have to enable it in the truck,
ford pass gets confusing by whats on screen but it does not set the schedules or anything it only advises you when an update has occurred

Go to settings about SYNC in your truck and look for the version number. Either post a picture of the screen or post your version number. Then everyone can help.

Here is a image of the ABOUT SYNC screen. I only see "Revision: 243" and no version number.

Unfortunately your truck has never received an update. It will be stuck there unless you take it to the dealer or update it yourself. That version 20312 is known to be one that gets stuck and won't update OTA.

I was able to take it to dealer and have them update. Latest ABOUT SYNC screen is below. How would I go about it this is the latest or not? Something I don't see is the ability to do full screen still.

No where near up to date, but they did get your truck out of OTA purgatory, so you will eventually start getting updates whenever it is your truck's turn to get one. It will be a looooong time before you are fully up to date with the OTA process.

Edit: They performed one APIM update and one GWM update.
