I’m trying to switch out my OEM led fog light bulbs for led white/amber bulbs but seems like the OEM bulb is completely different or I’m looking in the wrong place.

I did this with my previous trucks and loved the versatility with the dual color fogs and it looks cool!!

This is what I would look into. They should fit, I have not run these but heard good things. They are running a 15% off right now!

Thanks for replying!! I have H10 switchbacks already. I'm trying to figure out if they will fit in my truck with cornering leds. The bulbs that are in there look completely different than a standard H10. The base of the OEM bulbs are more oval than round like a standard H10. I want to know if they will fit before I switch out my led fog light housing for a halogen housing. I will know in a couple weeks when I take off my bumper. I've found someone willing to trade my chrome parts for his color matched parts!!!

I have an STX truck with base halogen everything and took every bulb out of the truck hoping I could go full led. When doing that the fogs on a base halogen have a 9140 bulb.

Do you have a picture of the bulb and housing?

From the looks of it the factory led fog bulbs are part of the housing. I guess I’ll have to swap my fog light assembly for a halogen one.

The halogens are the exact same just with one bulb for the light output. You should look into laminx amber tint film or vividt vynil in golden yellow before going through all tis work and losing the led drl. You also have to take off the bumper to remove your fog lights.

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP! I WANT MY LENSES TO BE CLEAR AND NOT YELLOW ALL THE TIME! I WISH I COULD GET ACTUAL CONFIRMATION THAT THE LED OEM HOUSING CANNOT HAVE THE BULB CHANGED.

I’m almost positive that you can’t change the bulb. If you switch housing I think that you might have to switch wiring also but not sure. If you end up switching I would be happy to take the oem fogs off your hands!

I’ll look for the adapter. I might just do the dual cubes that Baja Designs has for the 21 F-150’s

Baja designs also has an awesome looking fog kit to but both will run you a pretty penny!
