Is it possible to tell if my truck has those sensors already? anything I can dive into to figure it out? I have a 501A Lariat that I am hoping to more or less turn into a 502A
I believe your truck would have the rear sensor already if you have the on board scale option would then only be missing the front sensor but then the rear sensor would need to be wired to the hcm for the leveling to work. I believe

Yes, I just have 302a w/ base LED not 502a. I didn't think I had self levelling headlights but, the comment about the OnBoard scales made me think maybe I did since I have on Board scales.
You don’t have self leveling head lights with the 501 but if you upgrade to the projector head lights you have the sensors to make it work you would need to find a way to connect it to the hcm

Hey every one. I upgraded to the projector head lights with the hcm and harness for that. I did the forscan changes in the bcm I have the start up sequence when turning the truck on. But don’t move with steering input. And high beams don’t turn on automatic. Even though it’s set it. And when I turn the high beams on my low beams turn off. I feel like some thing is confused. And the plugs are on the right side because I know they are labeled The pig tails.

Did you also program the HCM properly? It’s highly unlikely you’d be able to drop it in and it would have the correct as builts

Interesting I actually got the dealer to do this. So I’m not sure. But if it wasn’t programmed would it even work at all? How would I program it is this some thing I could do through forscan?any help would be greatly appreciated 👏

Dealers don’t have access to forscan, or at least from what I understand they don’t. If I were you, I’d learn how to dive into forscan. It’s pretty easy and free (minus the cable to connect to the truck)

Yes I realized this. So I have forscan and have used it. Plenty of times but never had to program a module so I’m not sure where and how to do so. I’ll have to mess around with it tonight.

There’s a few threads on here that have all of the necessary forscan changes to ensure the projector headlamps function correctly. Verify your values based on those tables. If they don’t match, you can investigate why

Are you sure they installed the HCM? You can install the LED projectors without it.
Can you post a picture of the headlights they installed?

Heres they changes I did back in the day but might not apply to yours if the HCM is not right.

Yes I popped off the plastic and I see it there with the wires plugged into the drive mode as well I think my problem is I didn’t program the hcm with those values I see in another form I’m going to do this tonight

Hey so I did those changes I actually did do them. But for the first row where it says short medium and longest what is that for I did longest because I have the longest wheel base not sure if that’s how it works but I still can get it to work. I don’t have the hyper flash any more. And when I start the truck the head lights do the start up sequence but won’t move with the steering wheel input and they are pointed down not really lighting up the road ahead and when I put the high beams on the upper projector light turns off light

This is for wheel base, really don’t think it will make a difference.

The headlights move with the steering wheel when going above 20mph.
You may need to adjust the headlights to get the proper beam.

when I put the high beams on the upper projector light turns off light
On the LED projector headlight, the top is always on but never changes brightness. The lower led does the low and high beam.
