Folks have lots of good personal reasons for preferring / choosing a SuperCrew vs a SuperCab for their ideal truck. There's certainly legitimate pros and cons to each depending on one's needs and use-habits. Without any judgement either way I thought it would be fun to make a simple table of some key differences (and similarities) bearing on the decision.

Ford F-150 SuperCrew vs. SuperCab comparison (specs & features) Gen 14 F150 SuperCrew vs SuperCab

My 2022 Lariat ideal choice, yours may differ, no worries! (y):)

I've always been a supercab guy. It's a very rare occasion that anyone else would be in the truck other than my wife and I. The 6.5' bed is great for hauling stuff where the 5.5' leaves a little to be desired especially at the lumber yard. My 21 supercab is a 500a Lariat ( no longer available) with the front bench seat, in this configuration the truck has the advantage of being able to seat 6, very tightly of course, wouldn't want to do this on a long trip! But on a short trip it's doable. The crew cab can only seat 5.

My last 3 Ford trucks have been Supercabs...fits nicely in the garage.
Plenty of room over the years for a wife, daughter and a couple Labs.
Great size (F250 or F150) for pulling a travel trailer.

I went with a Super Crew because both my teenage boys are >6' tall and traveling 6+ hours for camping trips with your knees in your chest is no fun.

They actually prefer trips in my truck than in our minivan.

But I see why for others a Super Cab is the better choice and I don't look down on those that chose that style.

Mine is a 2022 (last year available) SuperCab 500A, little did I know when I ordered it'd be gone the next year, just lucky timing and I'm forever grateful (it's a long-term keeper)! 😄

Lol, same count for me, 1xF250, 2xF150
The travel trailer thing is certainly true for me with my 5500# GTWR 5th-wheel on the F150 (y)

Still, I understand that some folks need / prefer a SuperCrew, as long as you get what works best for you, No Worries! :)

@Buyer2021 , love the leather color. Beautiful truck.
Thank you, I'm loving it too!

Im in it for the long haul as well with mine, and Im glad i bought it when I did. I really like all of the features that Lariat and higher models have that can't be had in an XLT. This leaves me wondering what I'll do for my next truck. 🤔

I need the extra foot of bed length for hauling bikes but still want the shorter WB for parking, handling, etc. SCab is perfect if you don't need to haul people in the back- but even if you do, it's pretty adequate for anything less than a long trip. My neighbors have 2 SCrew F150's and they haul nothing in the bed or cab! The SCrew is probably better for resale since it is more popular but you can get pretty awesome deals on SCabs.

Envious of you guys who got a Lariat SuperCab order in for 2022. Had I known it was going away, I would have ordered a 3.5 Lariat 502a SuperCab with basically every option checked while I still could.

My 2023's back seat area is kind of pointless - I was a little more okay with going this route because I never could have gotten a PowerBoost SuperCab anyway. I still miss the layout of my last two trucks, though.

That's a good point I missed on my table in the OP, definitely a factor for some folks, editing to add, thanks for the mention! (y)

While I have a reg cab F150 I have a supercab Superduty. I’ve always been a fan of the cab. I like crew as well but it has to have at least a 6.5 bed for me to load wheelchairs. It’s just way harder to find a F150 crew 6.5 bed without ordering. The F150 Scab I have pictured is what I traded for the Superduty. I got pretty good trade for the miles as they wanted the Scab at the dealer.
My last crew was a mega cab Ram dually. Talk about room lol.
I really wish they would install wide track axles on all trucks just for the turning radius so you could easily maneuver in tight areas.
Best turning truck I had was an F550 with a pickup bed.

My 92 f250 sc , 4x4 ,8 foot bed was ideal. It only had 2 doors
2 dogs, 3 at times, plus one wife was perfect
But....I am dyed in texas king ranch interior person
If kr was an option in sc...sold it would be.

Weird how power boost with mid length bed was not an option.

Both cabs are great, for all our stuff we carry along,

While you're editing the table a foot note, the max seating capacity in a Crewcab is 5, *SuperCab 6 in certain configurations. 😀
By my reading of 2021-2025 Order Guides the 40/20/40 (no console, with 3 seatbelts) front seat has been available on a variety of both SuperCrew and SuperCab Gen 14 model years and trims (XL to Lariat). So 6-person capacity availability in either cab.

Maybe not common for either cab, but they're out there methinks.

Never intended to compile an exhaustive table of differences, there are many, that becomes a chore rather than a fun rainy Saturday morning diversion!:ROFLMAO:

I agree - the battery pack is under the bed, so it seems like it should be doable on the SuperCab. Probably not worth the extra engineering costs for a fairly low volume config, unfortunately.
