The metallic kinda makes the color change with the lighting and surroundings more so than other colors. Might consider removing the rear blocks at some point.

I'm thinking about doing it. Im a little worried about payload just because I actually do use the shit out of my 04 SCAB with the std 6.5 bed. That'll be sold before the year is out and I'll really have to start thinking about how much payload gets impacted by a change. I'm half waiting to see what happens when the springs settle. The rake isn't as bad as I'd originally anticipated- probably about 3-3.5 inches. 220lbs of fuel makes a difference Im sure.

If it's max tow, that'll effect squat when loaded.
Since you're FX4, you def. have the 1.25" stock blocks in the back, there's 1" blocks on ebay and I know I've seen 1/2" blocks before, just can't remember where, they are designed to "stack" which I wouldn't recommend, but if you're just sticking a 1/2" piece of steel in there by itself, it would lower the rear a bit for you and still give you some rake I'm sure.

Yeah I think they're flat 1.25in which makes me think there's no pinion angle adjustment required in removing them. Tempted to try it temporarily and reinstall before moving across the country again.
