Just wanted to let everyone know that I have successfully updated my 2022 PB Platinum to BlueCruise 1.4 and tested it. Took it on I-65 and worked just fine and auto lane change is amazing. Here is a summary of what I had to do:

1) Did all FDRS updates by getting a 2 day FDRS license from Ford and using my Mongoose cable. I had about 15 module updates to do which took about 5 hours overall. I was not able to do the BCM update because it requires a password. I did the ACM and PSCM updates successfully, but they continued to show in the list of modules to update. I do not have a fancy battery charger with power supply mode, but I made sure my X2 Power battery was fully charged and used a normal 15 amp battery charger. I never saw the battery voltage in FDRS fall below 12.6v.

2) I contacted @rugedraw via DM and he provided me with a list of Forscan updates needed. There are 2 APIM updates and 4 IPMA updates needed that I did with Forscan with a free 2 month extended trial license. I backed up both the APIM and IPMA modules as described in the Forscan tutorial first.

3) I then was able to go to the driver assistance area in features and saw the new options to set for in-lane repositioning and automatic lane change etc.

I had the dealership perform all the module updates recently and then followed the Forscan changes provided by @rugedraw and I'm glad to report my F-150 now has a fully functional BC 1.4. It is a very nice upgrade from BC 1.0 hopefully Ford will continue to update BC with new features we can take advantage of.

That's great. Can you share your dealers name with us? Most will not update any modules unless they can associate it with a warranty claim. How much did they charge to do the module updates?

I would love to get this working in my 22!!

Is the auto lane change still where you initiate the blinker and it changes lanes when clear or is it true auto lane change where it does it automatically? Mine is the blinker way so I'm trying to see if I need to update something in FDRS or FORScan.

Will 1.4 update on a 2021 F-150 w/Bluecruise, eg, I am running an older version of Bluecruise?

I joined the Ford Forum recently to learn how to update my 2022 PB King Ranch to BC 1.4. After reading the threads I DM'd @rugedraw and he was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My modules were already up to date and I already had a FORScan subscription and an OBDLink EX cable. After exchanging a few DM's with him all I had to do was follow his instructions and make the FORScan changes in just 2 modules I was able to get my BC 1.4 update to work perfectly. Only took about 30 minutes and I didn't experience any complications, everything went as expected. The lane changing in hands free mode works quickly and smoothly. It was a 5 mile short test drive so I didn't notice the lane repositioning because there was no need for my vehicle to move over in the lane but I suspect that will work well too.

Not only does it change lanes for you, if you follow someone very long with your cruise set higher, it will notify you when it's clear to pass. I think you might need to be going like 20 mph slower for a certain amount of time. Nice
Lane centering is also much improved with 1.4.

Successful update to BC 1.4!!

Thanks to rugedraw for supplying the needed module changes.

I was easily able to apply the changes and road test to confirm it is 100 % operational. And a really cool feature too.

My modules were current enough that I did not need to update with FDRS. I just used forscan to apply the changes.
