Spied: 2021 F-150 Platinum Interior And Other New Details!

Today we spied a final development prototype of the 2021 Ford F-150 Platinum and got some detailed shots of the interior, along with some other details.

The high-end trim level features a large center infotainment display and an all-digital gauge cluster (currently showing an avg 16.8 mpg). The leather-wrapped steering wheel appears to have a new design. The console-mounted shifter, wrapped in leather, appears to be the stow-away unit seen earlier this year.

The buttons and controls on the center stack have a tasteful chrome surrounds for a high-end, premium feel. Platinum badging can be found on the front quarter panel inserts as well as on the steering wheel. That matches the various chrome accents on the exterior, such as on the grille surround, mirrors, and wheels.

The F150 makes its official debut on June 25th.

I hope there is more functionality within the gauge cluster than gen 13. It doesn't look like there will be any virtual cockpit like Audi and others but hey, at least it shows a radio station!! p.s i hope those are test wheels and not prod because they're gross.

I am not so impress by what i see. Don't forget that it is the Platinum trim. I supposed that Ford will reserve all these goodies for the high trim level. So if we can't pay 80,000.00 for a truck, we do not have those options. May be i have to look at Ram truck who offer a lot of options in trim that is equivalent to XLT. So i won't have to sold my house to buy a new truck.

Looks like they simplified the cruise control steering wheel buttons as well...good to see those other controls were pretty dusty

So if we can't pay 80,000.00 for a truck, we do not have those options. May be i have to look at Ram truck who offer a lot of options in trim that is equivalent to XLT. So i won't have to sold my house to buy a new truck.

You can get 90% of those options on a Lariat.
