That sounds reasonable. Thank you so much. Like I said before, a simple communication goes a long way. I'm just a little sore that I paid for hardware that has been useless for two years (and counting).I don't have a good answer for you. I can tell you dealers were advised of this since January, but they would have to make an effort to look at the bulletins that Ford posts on the website they use. The only time Ford (or any other manufacturer) would address the customer directly via a letter to inform them of a recall is if there is a safety issue associated with the recall. That is not the case here, so they are under no legal obligation to tell you something is wrong.
