Don't put koons in the same boat for especially pricing. They were twice the price of Zeigler for the exact same coverage. I had to get a refund.

i have used zeigler many times, but my dealer/s has so far seeing thier quote, sold it at same price

By the way, although I was able to get X-plan from my long time dealership during the middle of the ridiculous ADM lunacy, they completely balk at the quotes from the trio of discounting ESP dealers, and have so for my last 4 trucks I've purchased from them. They don't even push Ford's ESP anymore, but rather some other brand.

Admittedly the other brand did cover my brother's 2018 3.5 Ecoboost phaser job at 90,000 miles, I still wouldn't have had the guts to buy it when it was offered.

i had the OTHER brand on my 16 exp...only because i was asleep or fell for the smooth talk..
thankfully i never had to use it and got most of it back when i sold it and bought the 21 superduty.

I'm interested in this topic as well. Don't know if it's possible or legal (loophole) yet, but once I take my delivery from Granger, I'm looking to use an out of state sibling's address and then soon after, putting in an address change for the ESP policy. Hopefully, that's doable. Assuming that the address change is accepted/added, I can't imagine that a local dealership will refuse it or care...But, this is a "squeeze all I can out of the folks" state.

The address won’t even matter once you get the warranty. It’s not like anyone else updates their address with ford esp specifically when they move. It will be tied to your vin, will show up in FordPass, and no service center will turn into Columbo in the future.

They have enough on their hands trying to figure out how to troubleshoot and repair the latest products coming in for warranty work. Can you imagine them having to audit where the customer lived when they purchased Ford Factory extended warranty?

I would have loved to have gotten the ESP from Granger especially because that is who I bought my truck from but unfortunately they were not selling the ESP until about 2 or 3 months after I got mine from Zeigler. Flood was a little more expensive and I don't think at the time offered a Pay In Full discount like Zeigler. Anyway Zeigler has been great to deal with via email and phone.
