That's what I ordered for my Lariat SCREW PB as well. Only saw it online / videos and the fact that it sometimes looks blue, sometimes gray depending on the lighting is really cool.

Can't wait - still unscheduled but hoping to get picked up by this week's scheduling (for the week of 5/9).. 🤞
Strangely enough, just happened to look over my KR PB SQ ownership paper and the dealer register the truck as grey for the colour. I would have thought blue would been the better choice since it is quiet blue looking in the sun and rather dark almost black in low light. Not so much grey , but still a great looking colour on the truck

I wondered how that would be listed... Is it blue? Is it grey?

What do you guys see in the diff in color between the Smoke quartz and the AMB--they look really close looking at pictures on this thread--have not seen the 2 together!! They both look amazing to me!

AMB is really a deep midnight blue color, sometimes it looks black; the blue comes out in the sunlight. SQ looks like a smoked blue, sometimes it looks grey, possibly a hint of lavender depending upon the lighting.

I was set to order AntiMatter based on the images shown on Ford's website.... then I saw on in person. It's VERY dark, virtually black, except for when the sun shines on it and then you see the deep blue metalic highlights. I feel a real misrepresentation of the color as shown on the website by Ford.
The Smoked Quarts , as @Bluesman says perfectly above, " looks like a smoked blue, sometimes it looks grey, possibly a hint of lavender depending upon the lighting "

I like Smoked Quartz the best of all of the current F150 colors. If I could have gotten SQ with the Lariat sport package I would have. I think the two tone King Ranch in SQ is the best looking truck out there.

That looks amazing. What product did you use? I'm shopping around for a ceramic wax. I was leaning towards Meguairs.
If you don't mind, how much did you pay for the ceramic coating? I'm in the Houston area (see you are in Texas)

I’ve owned my KR SQ for a little over one year and I’ve yet to see another one. Very rare and nice color.
@Dan M. - Ha! I’ve had mine for 10 months and have yet to see another Smoked Quartz either!

@Steeler -

Good choice. I’ve been using the Magwires Ceramic Coating product on my wife’s Explorer for 2 years and it performs very well. Apply it 2-3 times per year.

For my 2021 F-150, I applied a ceramic coating (not a ceramic wax) called CarPro CQUARTZ 3.0 UK. 10 months later I am very pleased with it.

I just joined the Smoked Quartz club. Lariat PB 502A 157” with the 7.2 kW Pro Power onboard. So far loving the truck, haven’t found anything lacking yet. Quick pic for proof…

Meet "Grabel", my new 2022 Smoked Quatrz F150! That's "Grabel" as in "Gray Belle" - even though born in Michigan, she's a Georgia girl now! I was a very lucky one - picked up three months to the day from the initial order.

With a 157" wheelbase, she's a big girl and I'm relearning how to handle a big truck since selling my 2000 F250 4x4 ten years ago. She has a turning radius to match her size - the 360° camera package was a good investment!

The guys at the dealership made fun of her - being in a solidly suburban area, they rarely sell 157s. And they wondered about the lack of running boards; at 6'4" I don't really need them, but my 5'3" wife sure does - but I wanted to find a better deal than the factory ones.

Next to her is my wife's 2022 Escape PHEV in Stone Blue - which in most lighting is less blue than the Smoked Quartz. I think they look good together!

Interesting, my insurance payment went down $100+/year over the 2012 GMC Acadia I traded in. Guess all the safety features help with that.
