When doing the build and price tool, the rear sliding window is a separate $350 option and not included in the 302a package.

Yes it is included. But don't take my word. Order the 302 package and you'll see when it arrives, along with keyless entry

I'm planning on ordering a loaded 302a powerboost without the rear window or the sunroof. I've got too much road rash from multiple leaks in my recently sold 2019 "Sieverado". Not saying Ford can't build a non-leaking slider, but GM has a design defect and it is affecting '19-'21 models. They redesigned the glass three times since late 2018 and still can't get it right. After four unsuccessful repairs, I got rid of it. If you go to the gm truck forum you'll see brand new '21 owners still having this issue after it was reported in late 2018. And I really never used it nor the sunroof, maybe 5 or 6 times in two years. Meh, too hot in Florida, hah!

I agree with not having the moon roof. I had couple sunroofs in pass and one T- roof. Every one of them leaked. Both ford and Chevy.

I've had 4 trucks with sliding rear windows and have probably opened them about three times each. All depends on your use. To me they are useless.

Yes they are removable just press the two tab buttons on the bottom and it lifts right out, the 12 foot long boards fit just prefect...

One use for it is you can open it when you open the moonroof and it stops the wind buffeting by letting air flow out.

Funny how things change I used to use it before the camera, hooking up trailer and listening for "comeonback" and "yerrightonit" and "stop right there"
AH yes, the call of the "Monback" tribe heard in their native loading docks!

On some trims, the power sliding rear window is optional. I never owned a truck, so what are the benefits and drawbacks to having a rear window opening? I'm looking at a XLT supercrew.
I ordered a sliding rear on the last 2 trucks i ordered. I used it a total of 1 time. So i really dont need it.

I cant answer if you do or not.

My dogs love it. My kids love it.
When the alternator fried in a snowy frozen mud puddle and my buddy was dragging me down the trail backwards on a kinetic rope and I had no power brake or steering assist and pin started droping on trans I loved it.

Had one on my old truck. Never used it. That being said the Tundra's lowering rear window is super cool!

Don't miss it one bit (sliding rear window). My previous F150 w/ sliding rear window eventually leaked and caused rust to form inside the cab. Then the motor died. I plan on putting a canopy with an inward folding front window, so I do not need that tiny Hobbit escape hatch.
