This is all I have. I found that it didn't really slide forward that smoothly.Does anyone have any pictures of their flat work surface jump seats?
That doesn't look comfortable to rest your arm on, especially for the passenger. I'm getting 40/20/40 seating but mine doesn't have that, plus I leave it up 99.9% of the trucks life. This is all I have. I found that it didn't really slide forward that smoothly.
It slides forward, then pivots toward you. There's a small storage area and two cup holders under the part that slides forward. You can access this area only after sliding forward. I had a jacket on when I tested, but you are right - it's not padded plus it's a bit higher than the regular seat.Is there still a storage bin underneath the work surface? So it slides forwards instead of flipping over like the console version?

The STX I looked at had the underseat storage. Sales rep said there were cupholders that you could put out like your picture, but I didn't see them in the storage compartment like you would expect. You have the 40 / 20 / 40 seats, correct?
Can you open the very bottom compartment that sits in the floor and tell me if there is a removable cup holder that you remove and put in the front of that small seat. I know it was there from like 15 - 18.
I just found it online. I don't know if the '21 has the same mounting hole for it. Just going to have to wait til mine arrives. Why is it bad? I am getting ready to order a Lariat in the split bench and I can't decide if I want this or not..I have the work surface jump seat combo and let me tell you— it is terrible.
I’m trying to switch out to the regular version. Could anyone give me some guidance on how to do it/part number?
Thanks for posting these. That does look pretty handy, although, truth to tell, I would probably be using it more to eat from than to work on....Here are some more pictures I found online of the work surface available with the 40/20/40.
