New 5.0 will probably have the same problem the GM Chevy has with there deactivation cycles and is one of the reasons I went with the powerboost hybrid. Plus it has 430 hp so it was good choice for me. So far it's been great on fuel. 26-28 mpg while driving normal. 21mpg when getting heavy foot.hey all. just joined. no truck yet, but should be joining soonish. debating between a 5.0 and the hybrid at the moment. will be getting a supercrew, 4x4, xlt, 6.5 bed, 302A, sport, fx4, and max tow in oxford. also getting dual moonroof. will need to order. super excited.
