Here’s what I wish we could do:
1) shut the truck off when we retire for the night.
2) wake up and start the truck using the Ford pass app.
3) switch in the generator from the Ford Pass app. to provide the Power we need to make that first cup of Joe.?

send the idea to Ford but I guess it wasn’t supported enough by my RV friends?

Thought this was an interesting video regarding running a trailer via Powerboost:

The results of that 24 hour test were fairly consistent with my experience. I think I actually use less gas than this test showed, because I do not run the AC continuously all day and night. I do use it all night on hot Texas nights, but not when I am in the mountains of CO. I believe I was using less than 0.3 gals per hour based on my usage. Supplementing with propane, battery, and 100watt solar, makes water the main limiting factor for dispersed camping, but even with my limited payload, I can carry another 11 gals of water, then the issue becomes the black and gray tank capacity. It's always something, but Pro Power changes the nature of camping for us.

Thanks guys. My neighbor stayed behind. So, I know the house and dock are all good. My plastic dock box (4 bolts to the dock) is ... umm ... not so good :)

Another neighbor fished the contents of the dock box out of the water for me.

So, it is all about when power and internet get back. But, the wife is already tired of hotels. So, we are going home. Then, I'll get to listen to the complaints of no central air :ROFLMAO:

I do have a window unit for this issue and will keep the master bedroom cool along with a bunch of other stuff running.
Wish you the best.

Yep
From what I have experienced in the hot OK sun, make sure you either turn off the display or your leave the AC cause the big arse display gets really hot if left on.

So, we are home. Spent a couple hours playing with 'temporary wiring'.

Put a 30 amp plug to the box, removed the neutral/ground bond, plugged her up.

Two refrigerators, lighting, fans, internet (AT&T put a generator on their box at the end of the road), cable tv (AT&T too), window AC in master bedroom. Basically, all 120 breakers are on. Not everything is being used. But, wife just checked, room is about to freeze her out. ?

Air fryer adds 700 to the B leg.

We are good! Loving this truck!! ?
So cool (no pun intended)!

Glad to hear you are doing well in a tough situation.

Thanks Eric. To say I was impressed is certainly an understatement!

I haven’t got mine yet maybe in another month but I’m wondering if there’s going to be a carbon build up issue down the road with running the generator all night or multiple nights

This version of the 3.5 Ecoboost has both port injection and direct injection. When the truck is idling, the truck is running on port injection according to the tuners. So the valves are washed in fuel and carbon shouldn't be an issue.

Keep in mind that depending on load, the ICE is running just a fraction of the time.
