Pretty straight forward to install with basic shop tools. Took me 2.5 hours but it could've been done in half that time. Roush instructions were clear but some stuff didn't apply to my model. I have attached some pictures below with some notes on them. Number of reasons why I decided to do this.

1. Don't need to change filters.
2. Performance has been improved in eco, regular and sport mode. Not as noticeable in eco or regular mode but in sport I did feel a difference. Can't say for certain as I don't have any scientific tools to measure.
3. Cool factor.
4. Potentially mpg improvement but too early to say.

Looks great..

I wanted to do it to my truck.
One dealership told me it void my warranty.

Another dealership says no it wouldn't.
So I'm not sure which is true.

If it still has to suck air through the same hose at front of truck how is a bigger box any benefit?

My guess is the filter is less restrictive than the OEM filter and the area of the round cone is larger than the flat square OEM filter.

PLEASE keep us posted on the power improvement 🤔
Truck feels to be more responsive in sport mode. Other than that it is hard to say without being able to measure different parameters.

I know the box is bigger but the air still comes through the same restrictive oval straw. Definitely less restrictive filter but I don't see it giving better performance than something like a drop in K&N.

Not knocking it I like the look, just trying to understand the science side of it. :)

You're likely right. Even if it does get more air at the front-end, the gains are minimal. CAIs are hotly debated on all forums and in general they can be responsible for as much HP gains as racing stripes. Maybe a few hp... maybe some sound benefit. All good though, whatever makes someone love their truck!

Installed one also - it definitely affected fuel economy more than power. A little better sound, but not dramatically so. Fuel economy up about 0.5 MPG over about a 700 mile test period.

Cool, so can balance out removing active air dam. :)

Or slightly changing your driving habits because you just purchased and installed something you hope improves your mpg.

No sound difference. For now I just like the look and not having to change filters.
