My vehicle is going in for warranty service next Tuesday for OTA updates. Last one I received was in June (2.1.0). What do you see? Can the dealership load all of the back updates during the service?

1FTFW1ED6MFB28935

Thanks for any info.
No OTA history in the past 60 days, and your Sync version appears blank. Hard to tell what is going on with your truck, but a blank sync version in PTS usually means that the last update that was sent to you failed. A trip to the dealer is a good idea.

After 16 months with no updates, they replaced the APIM and I’ve received two updates in two weeks. Nothing big yet (just got 2.7.3) and I’m dreading 2.8.1 as I don’t have a good place to leave a battery tender plugged in overnight. No idea what might be next, but so far, so much better. (1FTFW1ED5MFB74854). Once I get a place with a garage, I’m going to invest in my own rig to do updates.
I see you got one of the two patches you need before getting 3.5.2 and I also see you got 2.7.3 recently. There are no other updates pending in your queue at this time, but the fact that you are now getting updates is good news.

Hi folks, after a frustrating experience with an order, I purchased a used PB (VIN 1FTFW1ED6MFC03178) from another dealer. Based on Carfax, it was originally delivered in July 2021 but as best I can tell, hasn't had a single OTA since then. As I don't have the software/equipment to manually force an update, I have an appointment set up with a dealer next Monday to hopefully get things moving. Is that the right place to start? I have 2.0 active so would like to at least get that activated sooner than later. Any help/recommendations would be appreciated.

Your truck is on the dreaded Sync 20301 which normally means your truck is stuck and not getting updates. Your truck was sent a GWM update several times recently, but it failed to download the files every time and the update never took. You need a trip to the dealer or possibly @Jesse-Infotainment may have some files you can put on a USB that may eventually fix your issue. I don't think your truck will get any updates unless something is done.

Thanks! I have an appointment next Monday with dealership so I'll start there. This might be a stupid question, but for those bringing your trucks into dealership service department does this fall under a warranty claim? Is there an out-of-pocket cost?

@rugedraw hoping you can help me figure out if I have any updates available. Appreciate your assistance here, if/when you have time. Got some odd behaviors that, I'm told, may be the result of needed updates.
Sorry, but I don't have an active FDRS license to see what updates your truck has pending.

Ford re-instated the campaign for Bluecruise programming, so there will be no cost. Hopefully whoever your truck gets assigned to knows what they're doing and can get your truck right.

Good day, not sure if I am looking for a FDRS or PTS update, but I just recieved my truck and it says my sync version is 22082 which doesn’t look current, but it says I have no updates waiting.

My VIN is 1FTFW1ED2NFC16401

In PTS, there is no OTA history on your truck in the past 60 days and no updates in queue at this time. However, you have a 2022, so your truck was built with most of the updates on it already. The only thing you may not have is 3.5.2 unless you got that over 60 days ago and it erased from PTS's history. Either way, that update is just to prepare you for 3.5.3 and future updates, so you aren't missing anything. I am sure FDRS will show some updates available, since you can update to 3.5.3 via FDRS, but I don't have an active license to check for you.

Thank you! The only thing I seem to be missing is the option for full screen CarPlay….

Any ideas what this means? I have been getting it every other day for a week or so. I have auto updates on but set it to check at 11:30 every night. What is it trying to do?

Ok. I’ll ask. I have 3.5.2 and have had it for a few months now. I see 3.5.4 is out, but I haven’t received anything lately.

Vin: 1FTFW1ED2MFB80613

this is a 21 Job 1 I believe. I think if they don’t have the updates queued for me, I have my son upgrade it manually…

Thanks in Advance!
