Reprogram larger tires?

I am upgrading my 18s to 20s and wanted to hear other who have reprogrammed to account for the larger tire and the speedometer.

Do I need a full tuner to change this or is there a simpler method?

Some have reported success with Forscan, though I have not tried myself. Hypertech just recently released or added support for their in-line calibrator. It cost $230 though.
