The more I look at my truck, the less I like the appearance of air dam/active air dam. Has anyone here removed it from their truck without making any other modifications? If so, did it cause any issues, aside from mileage?

Yup. There is a thread on it.

First page of search results has it. So odd!

I did previously see the thread linked to by the administrator but in that thread it seems most people are doing something else to their truck, like adding a skidplate or just removing the active air dam and trimming down the rest of it.

What I was curious about is if anyone removed both with no other modifications.

You can remove the active air dam and the actuators associated with it no problem. If you choose to remove your passive/static air dam entirely you can do that too but just be aware you will see some exposed hardware that doesn't look too appealing in my opinion. That's why most people choose to trim the static air dam instead of removing it. If you do add a skid plate like the Tremor has, then the active and static air dam has to be removed for that to work.

If you order the snow plow prep it doesn't have the active air dam. Hindsight is 20/20 though.
