Mentioned in the other thread on this issue: I heard from my dealer yesterday afternoon that the fix is now available. The guy said I could have my truck as early as today, but the spray-in bed liner was not scheduled to be done until tomorrow, so I said I could wait another couple of days. Either way, seems there's an actual chance that this saga is finally over?

Spoke to the dealer today and he said that Ford is still working on the fix. They should have something within a week.

Posting to say that my dealer called and handed me my keys on Friday. Any dealer that claims no fix is available needs to double-check that, because it's available.

This document on the NHTSA site includes the directions on fixing it, which is not something I had seen prior to today (presumably it was added when the fix was indeed available). Scroll about half-way down.
