How long on average have folks been waiting for replacement driveshafts?

Two-three weeks ago, a service writer at my local dealership said the parts kits for this recall have been called back by Ford because some of the fasteners were too short. He had no certain time-line, but thought July was a reasonable expectation for arrival of the updated parts kit.

Thanks, Eric. Is this for the heat shield for the driveshaft? Our heat shield fell and the driveshaft was damaged, needing replacement.

That was for the kit to fix heat shields.

I didn't think to ask about the driveshafts themselves.

I freaked when I 1st read about this!

So... I climbed under my truck to check and FYI...

If you have RCSB, the insulation stops before the drive shaft starts.

We've been waiting since Early May 2022.
Correction, we've been waiting since April 19, 2022. An ongoing issue is that Ford keeps closing our cases without fulfilling the order, which I understand puts us back to the end of the line.
