I just installed the Ford kit for the 15-20 on my 21. Dropped it 1 3/8. My 2wd didn’t have any blocks to remove. Rear is now 1.75 higher than front. Super stoked the tailgate is a little over 2” lower!

Installed the included shims, zero driveline vibration. Didn’t use the crazy instructions except for the torque values. Had a lift and rear end stands. Removed the spare, left the rear wheels on. Glad I had air tools and long pry bars. Doing this with just a jack and stands is a young man’s game…..
very nice

Did anyone with a 4x4 that removed the rear blocks buy shorter U-bolts?

I installed Belltech's 4" flip kit #6447 on mine today. They would not say that it would fit the 2021 but everything bolted right up with no modifications. Kit dropped it exactly 4" as advertised. Took about 4 hrs to install.

In this photo it looks a little low in the rear, is that true or is it just how the photo was taken? Can you also measure the wheel gap for both front and rear so I can maybe get an idea on my truck?

It look too low. Must drive terrible. Maybe consider lowering the front or raising the rear a bit?

If you drop it with a flip kit, you will definitely need to lower the front at least an inch or else it will look like that.

Alas! Finally found and installed the 2015-2021 Ford F-150 2wd/4wd 1.5-2" Rear Lowering Shackles - PRS-413710. Easy install. Looks great. I do feel the front end a little light while driving but something I'll get used to. Also, I will need to adjust the headlight down a bit...

Any vibration from driveshaft with change in angle? Do you think this kit is better than Ford Performance kit that includes wedge for driveshaft angle that gets installed in spring pack?

I didn't know there was a Ford Perf kit available. I would have gotten that one instead. For sure it is probably better.

No vibration I noticed. I did notice the auto pilot is acting a bit weird not. It seems to skewed to the right side of the lane when cruise is engaged for some reason. Maybe system needs to be recalibrated or something do to the ride height adjustment? Also I will need to adjust the headlights down a bit to compensate lowering the rear.

Could you please elaborate a bit on the light front end?
Well, is short, the steering feel slightly lighter to turn the steering wheel. By lowering the rear, there is not as much of a rake stance and therefore not as much weight on the front end. Maybe it's all in my head haha...

Does look nice and I now have a set in my garage. Will be installed when I get around to project number 1,723. :D

FWIW, I also have the leveling kit which will require bigger tires and that could be installed after the Pirelli's wear out. Project number 2,228.

I got 2 inch lowering shackles and didn’t get anywhere near where I wanted it to, of course this isn’t the fault of the shackle company. The ones I used were for my uncles 2019 f150, he didn’t put them on and left them in my garage so I decided to test them on my 2021 F150. They did in fact fit and bolted right up, but like I said it did not drop it enough for me as I wanted a complete leveled look. Sometime in the near future I’m going to test removing the leaf spring blocks with the 2“ drop shackles in and then try it without the shackles to see how much it drops. If I remember Ill post back on this thread.
