I did mine today.
Heat up the outside real good with a heat gun. There isn’t a lot of the sticky tape actually holding the emblem on, it’s more for keeping water out.
Anyway, heated it up pretty good from the outside, then took the flat edge of a pry bar and pushed on the plastic nipple on the left side of the emblem until it popped out of the bed. There were no huts on the plastic nipples, for mine.
Then I closed the tailgate, wedged my fingers under the emblem and pulled it right off. Didn’t break the emblem at all. wiped the surface down with rubbing alcohol and pressed the new one into place.

The front emblem was a bitch.
Also now the 360 camera isn’t lined up so I need to get it calibrated.

Yea, I didn’t even try the old black package versions, because they said the 2021 front camera is different than the 2020’s and mounts differently in the emblem.

I’ve done two front emblem change overs. Go to you tube and search Mr. Boom 2021 grill removal. The guy’s got it dialed in. But if you are using a black emblem from a 2020. The 360 degree camera is loose and sloppy. Had to build a plastic bushing. Good luck. Don’t forget the spray washer cover.

Where did you get the emblems from? They look like what I would want but not finding anything

I ordered them through the dealer. They’re for a 2019 F150. Supposedly you’re not supposed to use them for our trucks because they don’t mount the front camera exactly right. I can tell the edges don’t line up well on the 360 view. I’m hoping a calibration will make up for it. I was waiting to get my tow mirrors installed before getting it calibrated, though, but lord knows when those will show up.

I got mine thru my local ford dealer. There we for 2020 but I don't have cameras so it went right on.

Just take it to a body shop and let them pry it out with a tool and scratch your truck. Ask me how I know. ?

No heat. Just pinched clips from inside with needle nose. Then used a microfiber and a plastic pry tool to NOT scratch. Popped out easy once you get a tad behind it.

I did the opposite I took the tailgate cover off and heated it up and pushed from the inside as not to have to touch any paint

thats what I said. "pinched clips from inside"
I removed the work surface, pinched the clips and lightly pushed. then closed tailgate, and used pry tool with a towel. didnt touch any paint.
