Someone posted the same thing from their new Raptor. The side display in the 12" sync screen can be set to one of the cameras too.

Same thing here. Very frustrating that they turn these off. oxymoron that for our safety they turn off the safety feature of being able to see what’s going on around us while moving.

On my truck it's 6 or 7mph and having the cameras inoperable is the same thing as if you couldn't use your rear view mirror or side view mirrors at speed.

Certainly seems counterproductive that one can't see in back using the rear camera. If not towing, it nice to see what's directly behind the truck, from time to time. If towing, it would be great to see everything is good with the hitch, and that nothing is going sideways.

I picked up my truck today that was built on 09/15 and I can confirm the rear facing cameras work while travelling at speed. I tried it at 50 km/h and they stayed on until I hit the camera button again. Hopefully there is an update for you earlier build date folks.

I’m wondering if this is a specific option?

Very interesting, definitely doesn’t sound like an option but more of a change. I’m a 6/20 build and can’t use mine at any amount of speed.

On my sync 4 display, there is an option (the right panel which you can put to larger left panel or make full screen)to leave on all times and view rear bed camera in the panel menus and can have on at any speed....once thats on i can hit the hard button and select any rear camera at any speed.....I have a Latiat 501a sport pkg, max tow, 360 camera, and copilot assist....and also do have the front bumper sensors with front collision like the rear back up collision. Ordered in june, built in aug, delivered in sept!

I can confirm mine allows the cameras at speed as well -- not all views are available, but the hitch and cargo views definitely were allowed. I have a Job #2 Limited PowerBoost that was built 8/29.
