I've been waiting for the update so my rear camera will work at speeds but its still not working. I updated to 2.8.3 last week and when I hit the rear camera I get the " vehicle in motion warning and it goes back to sync. If I hit it at speeds less than 5 and it will show the camera but once I hit 5 it goes away like its been for a year but when i go to 5mph again it shows the camera. (really annoying) with the option of a X in the top left corner to stop doing this.

I have forscan that I made a few changed like Bambi and double honk. Has anyone made the change with forscan and have a problem with 2.8.3? does your camera work at speeds still?

Truck is a Job 1 21 Powerboost 302a, without 360 camera, with max tow and intelligent tow tech.

I had the exact same experience. I was hesitant to do anything with forscan but I got so frustrated with it not working after getting fully updated I caved.

I made the forscan changes to enable the cameras at speed and it did finally work.

The last really frustrating thing is I can’t for the life of me get the do do do stopped when I get into the truck and start it. I’ve disabled the seat belt chimes but it still dings at me about 9 times unless I get into the blistering hot truck, buckle my seatbelt, close the door, then start it.

If anyone has any suggestions on that piece please help.

I have the same 302a model, but I do have the 360 cams.

Odd! Last week our truck updated to 2.8.3 via OTA and the cameras in motion finally work.

Been stuck on 2.8.2 for over 2 months. What a cluster.

I had made the ForScan changes to get cameras at speed, double honk removal, glare free headlights, and digital gauges a long time ago. I recently got the OTA update to 2.8.3. Everything is working correctly and I did not revert my changes before the OTA came through but had no problems once the update installed.

I used the codes from the spreadsheet. I also had to go into the APIM (the simple mode option) to enable the side card for the bed camera. I went ahead and added all the side cards while I was in there.

I added cards too, but I don't have the bed camera so i left that out.

I have to add too; getting the same issue on the XLT. My Lariat got the update and cams worked perfectly at any speed however the XLT is having an issue. Issue is the “vehicle in motion warning” then goes back to the map screen. The XLT did have the cams in motion by forscan but reverted it back to factory values when LivinItUp made the announcement months ago to revert it back to factory defaults for cams. The XLT is a 302A.

Anyone have this issue and found a fix?

Honestly I can’t remember and have to find the original post but think it threw a code, glitch or something at a certain PowerUp update, but I can’t be 100% sure.

Edit; this was for the PowerUp update 2 versions before 2.8.3 I believe. You can now use it once you’re up to date.

UPDATE: After being in touch and a huge thanks again to @Livnitup, cams in motion for backup camera works flawlessly on the XLT with 302A after PowerUp Update 2.8.3.

His recommendation, use the FORScan spreadsheet (link below) and change the As-Built lines for “Enable Cameras at Speed”.

**Disclaimer; use at own risk; there’s no guarantee it’ll work 100% for you. But as always, make backup of the modules before making any changes.
