I put $100 down for a Ramcharger a while ago. I got a few marketing emails initially but been crickets for quite a while.
I saw one report from RAM that 80% of advanced deposits were for the RamCharger versus the pure EV version and that was the basis for the production timing shift to bring the RamCharger to market first. So these refundable deposits really do impact product development.

@KTM753 or anyone else. What is the most popular RAM forum where they may be discussing the RamCharger?

Here's one. I do not how good it will be though until some action starts to happen.

That tracks with the data on the Scout orders provided at Scout EV Forum:

Ford F-150 RAM to focus on RAM Charger Hybrid, Delay EV 1736458643498-3u

The reality is that customers want to wade into the EV pool. Manufacturers are starting to get it and range extenders can be a huge profit source if they listen to their customers.

That tracks with the data on the Scout orders provided at Scout EV Forum:
I don't think the Scout Terra and Dodge RamCharger are going to be in the same league. Reports being posted right now suggest the Scout Terra EV extension ICE engine may be an off the shelf 1.0 or 1.5 liter Volkswagen engine. One press release said the engine is small enough to fit in the rear of the Terra under the floor.

The RamCharger is going to have a 3.6 liter eTorque Pentastar V6 Engine connected only to a massive 130 kW generator in the frunk area. This generator should be large enough to move the Ramcharger down the road towing a trailer without any help from the EV battery, but probably with reduced performance.

The small engine in the Scout Terra suggests to me that this engine will only be used for battery charging, an idea that has been around for 10 or more years in EV's.

Ramcharger production is supposed to start in 90 days. I hold a position and so far no emails asking me to place an order. No indication in the various forums that anyone with a reservation has been invited to order. The advanced order system announced for the Ramcharger last April had a December 31, 2024 expiration but they are still accepting $100 reservation positions on the web site. So maybe there has been a delay.

Indeed, EV towing numbers are well known. Towing a box style trailer requires ~1kWh per mile at 65-70mph which would require 65-70kW of energy. A 130kW generator will not only entirely power the driving, it has enough spare energy to charge the battery to resume EV only operation after an hour or so.
