Any problems with the Zf8 were worked out a long time ago. I had three Rams and all had flawless transmissions. I only came back to Ford for the engines because the 5.7 Hemi just wasn’t enough. I would definitely go back for an SRT 6.4 over anything that the F150 currently has.
My transmission is flawless except when it's cold.

My 10R80 in my 2024 5.0 is flawless. I have zero issues so far on the truck with it. The power train is amazing the way it drives at least on mine

Direct injectors and the coyote tends to shake the hood around on the seats at 2k-3k rpm. It’s well documented that the 3,000 rpm rattle has nothing to do with the engine and is just the hood shaking. Many of us had it resolved by adjusting the hood.

My dealer took care of the rattle via adjusting the hood on delivery, they were well aware of the phenomenon when it happened on my test drive. Nothing to worry about.

Not to hijack, but what are these tick and rattle noises?
Head on over the Mustang6g forum, and search for "BBQ tick" , "2K rattle"

Ford even released TSB's on the subject. To this day, no one has a definitive answer on why the Coyote does this, but there are countless examples of these engines making what sounds like a GAs grill Igniter, ticking noise. The 2 K rattle refers to 2000 RPM rattle that happens at lighter loads. Some think it is the VCT solenoid or cam phasers, some think it is the DI pump coming on and off
