These are more my affordability. Lol. I wonder if there's another way other than the 1 bolt to secure them or is that 1 bolt sufficeI have been looking at these but I am cheap so I was considering just buying these straps from amazon.
You don't get the interface plates so you would need to mount them to your existing plates or buy a new set from Ford PN FL3Z9928408AB or a knockoff from amazon
Yeah, I def think you would need two bolts because of the the way they mount you would have a lot of tension wanting to bend them away from the plate, but it looks like the backside has enough meat you could drill a hole at the other end and add a second bolt. These are more my affordability. I bought some of the cleats a few months ago for my truck and still haven't installed them. I might have to do a little experimenting with some of these. I'd prolly only put them on back ones since my cover is a quad fold and prolly wouldn't even use front ones.Yeah, I def think you would need two bolts because of the the way they mount you would have a lot of tension wanting to bend them away from the plate, but it looks like the backside has enough meat you could drill a hole at the other end and add a second bolt.
Code didn't work for me. Only offered on certain items, I guess?I just installed 4 of these on my truck this past weekend. They work great and bolt right on to the factory cleat locations.
RAD is currently running a 20% off sale right now, so price comes down to roughly $60 per strap (code RADLOVE). Yes, they are pricy, but the convenience factor alone makes it worth it in my opinion. No more tangled ball of straps for me! Plus it's a small family run US company and I don't mind supporting them for coming up with a cleaver/smart idea.

Whoops... looks like the sale ended on 1-29-24. Sorry about that!Code didn't work for me. Only offered on certain items, I guess?
You could certainly save some money if you have some fabrication skills and want to put in the time & effort to fabricate brackets for those straps to mount to, then bolt them to the factory cleat locations.I have been looking at these but I am cheap so I was considering just buying these straps from amazon.

HammaMan, always great content! IMHO, anything with suspension on it needs strap ends with a strap end closure flap. You can hit a big enough dip/bump that a bike will squat and lose the strap hook.Lot of $ for limited length/utility ratchet straps. I wouldn't trust those w/ a 4 wheeler. They're cute though. A 400lb strap is light weight.
I've had my first set of these for over a decade and still going strong even after being left strapping down a hot tub to trailer for 18 months through loads of rain. Cut one pair down to 12' and use that the most. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-To...t-Tie-Downs-1666-lbs-Yellow-44-4-oz/597673079.
To each his own, but I think it's important to remember that it all depends on what you want the tie-down straps for. 99% of the time, the stuff that I put in my truck bed isn't super heavy and the straps are intended to just keep things from shifting around. The RAD straps are meant to be a fast and easy way to strap down cargo in your bed. If you have a super heavy load, then bust out the heavy duty straps (use the right tool for the job).Lot of $ for limited length/utility ratchet straps. I wouldn't trust those w/ a 4 wheeler.
