**QUICK QUESTION** Plastic plug in bed of truck, what's it for???

Hi all

I'm just about to fit my fifth wheel trailer wiring into the bed of my truck and when I was looking at it to decide where to place it, I noticed the black plastic bung!
So, I removed it and it leaves this opening as seen in he picture.

Can anyone tell me what that's there for and give me a reason to not use it?

I'll have to open it up a bit but it will save me drilling into somewhere else on the bed

This is where the push-button switch for the optional bed lights would be. The elongated plug above it is where the light would be. I don't see any reason not to use it.

Thats where the switch would mount if you had the optional LED bed lighting.

Lucky you! You've got a much easier solution than I did when I installed the 7+12 pin connector in my bed (12-pin for trailer TPMS/rear cam).

I have the same set up as you in respect to the Anderson system.
I've fitted a B&W turnover ball so need to do the plug before I get the bed liner done

I LOVE my B&W Turnoverball + Andersen setup, have the same in my 2005 XLT, betting you will (or already do) love it too!
