Can the Ford Pass app remote start the truck?
I am about to get my truck, then have to leave for 6 weeks on TDY to FLW and don't want the battery to die while on travel.
Any inputs?
Thanks...

The Ford pass app can remote start the truck, but it can only do it twice. So keep that in mind, after you remote start twice you have to drive the truck to be able to remote start again.

Truck will also go into a deep sleep mode after a few days to save the battery, which means no remote start.

If I was going away for that long, I would put a battery maintainer on the truck and it will keep the battery charged.

This got me thinking about our TT that we have in covered storage about 30min from our house. We have two 12v batteries that seem to slowly drain even with the battery disconnect. We have access to power, but I don't like leaving the entire TT powered constantly, even though probably 15% of other folks do at this place. We usually go down to the trailer once every month or two to power it up, inspect it, go to lunch, then come back and power it down. We usually see the batteries start around 3/4 and get back to full during this charge time on the TT command center. Then this post gave me the idea to mount this NOCO mounted battery tender and only power it all the time versus the whole trailer.

Thanks for the replies. I live in a apt with no access to AC so maybe a solar?

I have battery tenders on my quad and zero turn mower. The quad is a 2009 and I just had to change the original battery this spring.
