Posted in the FDRS tread but came here to say I am not early access however I am fully updated as of thanksgiving. Idk how that impacts ford selection process. Early 2022 PB. I saw the update and got the charger hooked up so it didn’t fail. Success first try.

FYI an additional note unless yall were already aware. I got the BC 1.4 OTA update today (IPMA-24.20410.9) so I jumped on forscan to check the strategy and it is BBC. I updated all modules over thanksgiving via FDRS and got ACJ then wrote the BC 1.4 changes via forscan but now I am on BBC via OTA. Checked the as built differences and there are only changes in the “homography” sensor coding section of the IPMA. The update also knocked out my trailer side view and cameras at speed changes forscan changes. But those might have been too recent to have been backed up to the mothership hard drive for my truck. I will have to take it for a drive and see if I can feel a difference but I doubt it will be noticeable.

TLDR: BC 1.4 OTA update is BBC.

It looks like it took a shit. I checked my phone first thing when I woke up and the FordPass app showed the update failed and listed several dumb reasons it could have failed.

I went to the truck just now and pushed "update now". Let's see how this goes.

It failed because your battery stats are too low. SoC is at 62% and capacity is at 45 out of 80. Waiting for 1am will only allow your battery to deplete even more and it will fail again. I would throw a charger on your 12v battery, charge it to a 100% and manually install it once it is fully charged.

I have your VIN from when you sent it to me in a message. PTS lets me see what's going on with an active OTA trigger. "Interrupted by another process" might as well just be replaced with "charge your damn battery" from Ford. I don't know why they have to be cryptic with it. That message doesn't help anyone.
