Swapped the factory tires for 275/65/20 KO2’s.
Added wheel well liners, Retrax Pro aluminum bed cover, lineX bed spray. Was originally going to lift it but need to get into parking garages old and new so I’m going to try out Installing Falcon 2” coil over level kit tomorrow.
Swapped the Falcons out for the Fox 2.0 stage1 2” level coil overs and rear 2.0 shocks. Falcons rode extremely rough literally identical to a 3/4 ton, imo they’re quite possibly the worse riding shocks I’ve ever rode on.
Moving along, the Fox 2.0 level is awesome and highly recommend anything Fox suspension. swapped the BFG’s for the Toyo Open Country AT3’s 285/65/20’s which are my first Toyos and imo are a much softer riding tire.
Very nice ride! I have heard of the falcons being rough as well . Do you think it maybe has to do with the coils being stock vs the new coils the fox ones come with ?
Absolutely, and same thing happened to me years ago when I leveled my gmc before going full cst lift. Those folks claiming rides great have no idea what rides great can be switching to Fox coil overs.
Ok, I wasn’t fully thrilled with the rear Fox 2.0 smooth body as I don’t like limitations on ride quality so I swapped them out (keeping the rear Fox 2.0’s as spares) and installed new Fox Elite Performance DSC piggyback as I prefer adjustable in the rear to be used in different applications from empty to hauling and or towing and WOW, huge difference and highly recommend them!
