I see them on lariats. I think it’s just part of the copilot 360 package TBH. Anything proving that wrong?
Interesting... I’m not 100% sold that the grey one does have sensors. The picture is garbage. We just need to map the sensors to their function and the packages... could even be a production mistake at this stage of the game.
All of my research leads me to believe this could be a production mistake. The xlt 301A, 302A and lariat 501A have a note that states “Rain Sensing Wipers and Front Sensing System included with Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0 . There is no mention of Forward Sensing System on Lariat 502A & above. However, we see it on KR, Plat & Limited. Seems crazy it would not be on aLariat 502A. It would be good to see pictures of an ordered Lariat 502A. I am really nervous that I will be disappointed when I have waited so long for this truck. I wish there was some way to confirm the configuration. Does anyone have a Ford contact that could research the issue?

Bad news for us Lariat 502A people. My dealer verified with Ford that the front proximity sensors are not on the Lariat 502A unless you add the copilot 360 prep package.

Was there an explanation why?

I have the 2.0 active prep so I’m good but very curious.

It's ridiculous. But maybe trying to make this option available to lower priced tiers? Or a simplification on the build line so they don't need to have 2 different arrangements of front sensors on the 502a? The front sensors with active prep include the side bumper sensors, total of 6 on front. The regular front sensor setup on lower trims is 4 front sensors only.

I had to add 360 cam and active prep to my order the other day, so paid a lot more just to get my front sensors but tight garage so kind of important. Plus I'm used to having it on my Explorer, and going to a bigger vehicle.

I was told Ford is aware of the issue, and is working on getting it fixed for 2022. Doesn’t help me. Also said there may be a sensor package available for dealer install later.

Sorry for confusion. On the Lariat 502A, you must buy the Copilot 360 Active Prep to get the front parking sensors.

Because of unclear information, I ordered a 502A without Active Prep, thinking I could save a few bucks and still have front parking sensors. Now I have no parking sensors. Not worth placing a new order as it is too late to change, I just have to reach over and turn on the camera . Guess this is a hazard of ordering a new model year truck!

Foward sensing system, is that not the same as the parking sensors? Wow, how can an XLT have a different/ better 360 co pilot assist package than a 502A. If it was an oversight, Ford just include it on the models that are not built yet.

Except its confirmed in real world that 502a doesn't have it unless you have active prep. Where is that screenshot from? I've seen some info on dealer websites that was incorrect.

Fords word:
"The Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0 Package includes a forward sensing system. This package is available on The Lariat 502A equipment group. This package also requires the 360-Degree Camera Package or the Tow Technology Package in order to be added to your configuration"

Yet, I found one without the sensors

Without Active Prep, no sensors on 502A. My dealer confirmed firmed with Ford. I don’t think there is anything I can do About it. It actually blows my mind that an XLT has the function and you have to spend $995 to buy stuff you don’t want to get the sensors on a Lariat 502A.
