I know there likely is zero difference, and not that we have any choice, but....anyone prefer one plant over another? My F150’s have always been made at Dearborn, but my 21 is coming from Kansas.

The only thing that seems to suck with coming from KC, is that I orders in July, and won’t have the truck until next month. Similar trims have arrived, so who knows what my delay was.

I’m partial to Dearborn only because I’m not too far from the plant. All 3 of my F-150s, including my 2021, are Dearborn built.

I wished we could select. Everything on mine was indicated to be produced there, but when I got the sticker, it was KC.

Maybe it's a fluke, but I've had two F150's from KC and two from Dearborn and there were significantly more paint and fit/finish flaws with the KC trucks. My 2020 is a KC truck and it is an absolute disaster.

That bites! What kind of issues have you had? Would be nice to know of things to watch for. Before my F150 days, I had Super Duty’s from KTP, then all my F150’s have been from Dearborn...Will be interesting to see how KC is. I do have to laugh though, why anyone would really care where a new truck is built.

My dealer told me today that KC stopped building trucks for the time being. I think he said it was due to the Chip shortage. ButI honestly forget as I was taking delivery of my truck ?

Power grid issue in western Missouri and eastern Kansas caused Ford plant to close for this entire week.

My truck was KC, I spent 20 minutes looking over the paint on delivery and it was flawless, then the next day I remembered to check the roof and I found one fisheye!

The door gap was so unacceptable, that the dealership didn’t even say anything other than their body shop will fix it.

The other night, I noticed engine condensation dripping from several slip joints in the exhaust. It’s really only supposed to come out of the tailpipe and the weep hole in the muffler.

My doors are the same way! I thought maybe it was just the way it was supposed to be, as the doors are a bit harder to close than my 2017. Now that you say your dealership will fix that, I will be bringing it up to my dealership as well. Thanks!

When you look at it from thirty feet away, it can still be noticed because the door is at a different angle and it looks a different shade than the rest of the truck.

A car inside the showroom had a similar gap, I pressed on it and it latched shut! That’s how bad the gap is.

With the radio off, above 40mph, you can hear the whistle from the door gap.
