PowerUp 1.7.1 Update

I haven't seen this elsewhere yet, but did anyone get an update notification in Fordpass for this update? I got it on my phone this afternoon. Didn't see any changes while driving, and also nothing new in the app, so not sure what all may have changed.

You will get navigation prompts in the dash when using CarPlay navigation, at least with Apple Maps.

It also adds a destination location in the SYNC Navigation based on your driving patterns (work in the AM, etc).

Yep, I got the update a few days ago. I haven't noticed anything different but I don't have apple carplay.

Same with me. Update showed up Monday and I didn't notice anything yet but I haven't driven much.

It also allows you to accept/decline phone calls through CarPlay with a touch of the steering wheel buttons.

I have had an "XM loading" message ever since the update. Radio plays, but no information is available.

So this is more than the little arrow that indicates your next turn in the cluster? Anyone have pics?

Those who received PowerUp 1.7.1 update recently are already outdated since @Ford Motor Company loves fragmented version deployments without explanation. PowerUp 2.1.0 is being released to others already. What a massive clusterf***!

I just received this update. First one received since buying in early August. But now FORScan is showing an active DTC in the APIM (U3000:41-0B). Anybody else seeing this? Is it safe to clear (or ignore) or should this be addressed at the dealer?

Iphones didn't have the directions on the dash before? It's a great feature, catch your speed and turn in a quick glance.

Yeah, I am at the point I think I need a hard wipe and boot:

1-2 time a week, it starts on channel 1 on XM- never made it a saved channel- EVER!
2-3 time a week, it will not connect to Iphone
1-2 month, blank screen. Untill I cut off truck for 5+ min...
