If I was paying off karmic debt, I can accept that. But Ford’s anemic customer service was enough to probably keep me away for a very long time. I had a bad Subaru experience once and they (dealer and corporate) went to the end of the earth to make it right.
My other car is a Subaru so that's heartening. Sorry you went through that with Ford.

Dropping off a new Powerboost at a dealership with the purpose of them fixing an intermittent problem is basically a lemon in the making.

I'm not sure where to post this and I don't want to start another "Sky is Falling!" thread, but something out of the ordinary happened while moving the truck back into the driveway after mowing the lawn.

I walk up to the truck keys in pocket, grab the door handle and hearing it unlock I open the door and get in. I'm not moving it far, so no seatbelt fastening as I put my foot on the break and push the start button. I then release the parking brake and look over to see the 12" display still says Ford and has no movement at all around the Oval. I wait. Nothing changes.

I Press the stop button. Set the parking brake which sets. I open the door and get out as the screen finally goes blank. Shut the door and lock it. Count to 5 then press unlock. It unlocks. Open the door and both screens start their startup display sequence. I step on the brake, push the start button and the screen opens normally on audio and propower where I left it considering I don't have my phone on me for CarPlay to initiate.

As I'm pulling up the driveway I get a message saying too many plug in attempts(paraphrasing) for propower and it needs to be reset or turned off. I finish pulling in the driveway, put it in park, set the parking brake, take my foot off the brake pedal, then turn off pro power via the button on the dash. I then press and hold the propower button and it comes on normally with generator mode, low power mode, and off all cycle through with a slow push of the button. I leave it in low power mode and shut the truck down normally.

Locked it and went inside.

Oppressive heat out there late afternoon August in Orlando.

I've had the Outback glitch a time or three as well. Tough environment for any multi processor connected architecture today boys and girls.

I've put 6k on PB #2 in 16 months, sometimes sitting for weeks. It's always happy to see me, even when I try to break it. Used it for 2 days worth of bulk moving, never turning it off with super ice cold interior with a massage to boot averaging 16 MPG. I wasn't being conservative with it either. Each trip was like a little ice bath chilling. Was an interesting tactic for ~100 degree humid weather with one stop's lot being 120 degrees due to fresh black pavement.

I think I was trying to convey however clumsily that modern vehicles glitch occasionally like our phones, laptops and everything else. It's not a big deal for the most part.

I wanted fast charge times and extended 12v capacity and the LFP gave me that. I've found some funny behavior after the truck can't accept just how much 12v energy is 'used' w/out any obvious charging. Happens after 10 days or so. Because I've only seen it twice and it takes a while to occur, it's harder to diagnose. Won't turn on any lights like it's really low batt, but a quick double press of the ign button resets it. Unfortunately some of this logic plays out over days or weeks so it's harder to nail down.
