This is from the manual, looks like the AC is off the engine.

Conditions that may cause the gasoline
engine to start or remain running include:
• Considerable vehicle acceleration.
• Driving uphill.
• The high voltage battery charge level
is low.
• Heating or cooling the vehicle interior
in high or low outside temperatures.
• The gasoline engine is below normal
operating temperature.
• Towing a trailer.
• Certain selectable drive modes could
cause the engine to run.

What is Low Engine Use Mode
Low engine use mode maintains proper
engine lubrication at sufficient temperature
and activates when you drive your vehicle
with limited engine operation.
That’s one of the reasons I’ll keep that Auto Start/Stop crap turned off. I’m sure Ford has upgraded it for the extra use, but no need to add dozens of cycles of wear and tear to my starter, battery, alternator, A/C system and much more while doing normal driving.

I’ll add one of the devices that keeps it permanently turned off if they offer one for the 2021 F-150.

Not hybrid stuff but I didn't know this. My 18 didn't have it not sure about the 20s.

Note:When active drive assist is active, in
certain crash or near crash-like situations,
such as an air bag deployment or hitting a
road obstacle, camera data may be
recorded through the vehicle event data
recorder. See Event Data (page 27).
Note: No data is recorded under normal
driving conditions.

Yeah I agree, I had one on my 18, hoping it will work on the 21, I see no reason why it won't. It works fantastic and was easy to install.

I’m thinking about putting a piece of electrical tape over that camera on the driver’s side A-pillar if that’s the case. I’ll take it off if I want to use all that robo-drive stuff!

"No data is recorded under normal driving conditions" Okay, sure.... Because Google, Amazon, Facebook, and others don't record our activity in "normal conditions" either....
