Yeah, I would imagine a retrofit is going to be more complicated on a PB versus a non-PB 3.5EB.y t
I'd sure like to find out about that if one exists.
I'd say that I've used all the "use your own brain tricks" I've heard about, while pulling a
9000# TT in the mountains of Colorado with my new PB, and I'm still getting what appears to be runaway thermals on both the engine coolant and transmission on the steeper grades. I just have a hard time believing that anything over 240F is "normal", that is if you want your engine to last a good long time. In my opinion it's a problem in search of a product. In the meantime I'll just slow down some, and stop to let things cool down at the steepest grades. (tho I really hate to HAVE TO do that, no matter how infrequent).
