I question the numbers released. they say that both the Eco boost 3.5 and Hybrid share the same 400 HP rated engine. If you add the electric motor to the mix, and its 47 HP you should be 447hp and 570 ft lbs of torque. Unless the math is wrong on the electric motor. Maybe they are claiming 430 HP knowing its actual more? I would suspect that it is going to be fast.

Any estimates on 0-60 and 1/4 mile?
it could be 5 seconds to 60mph and 13.5 seconds 1/4 mile maybe faster. what do you think?
The old Eco had 386 hp I think and 470 ft lbs of torque

So 375+47=422 the other 8 hp I guess they got through software or something else.

Don't forget the Powerboost will be heavier than the same truck in the Ecoboost. How much heavier is the question

currybob ,Ya it will be heavier. I cant believe the torque numbers. 100 foot lbs more than last years 3.5. The limited had 510 ft pounds with 450 HP. I think that the Hybrid is a sleeper, lol . I cant find any weights, but I would suspect it maybe 300-500 lbs heavier. should be interesting.

Are we supposed to be in shock and awe by these powerboost numbers? Because they arent That spectacular. The plugin Aviator does much better at 497/630 and the outgoing HO 3.5 managed 450/510. Plus it's gotta weigh 500 pounds more with the additional equipment. Meh... Will be waiting for the 2022 superduty refresh or the 2022 GMCs with refreshed Denail interior and the small diesel. Flame away just my opinion...

It is 495 lbs.

The regular EcoBoost changes were impressive but I want the powerboost, I'll take the weight and get the additional power of the hybrid, better MPGs and built in generator. All on regular gas, the eco HO was premium gas as I recall.

Thank you for the information. Good point , if this 430 HP is regular gas, what will it get running premium?
