When do you guys think we will see some numbers? And what are your predictions?

It would be awesome if they used something similar to the 2020 Raptor/limited tune and started with 450 and then got another 50 from the electric motor.

Dealerships can take orders through a Ford portal open only to dealers right now.
Unsure if all dealerships participate. I'd call around to your local Ford lots

I have not seen anything that indicates that Ford is using the High Output 3.5 (Raptor) for the Powerboost. Should be the regular 3.5 with the added hybrid boost. Regardless, it is going to be powerful. What I'm not sure about, is how well it will tow with the added weight and components.

I’m gonna guess at 550lb/ft.

If I recall, the existing 3.5 Ecoboost is 375hp & 470 lb/ft. I would venture to say the Powerboost version would be 450hp & 550 lb/ft.

I am a bit less optimistic... predicting 425 hp / 520 lb-ft

That makes sense. Its just better than the GMC Sierra/Chevy Silvarado 6.2 L V8, which puts out 420 HP and 460 lb-ft.

My Raptor has 450hp 510lb-ft. If they beat that you are looking around ~460hp+ and ~520lb-ft. If you want to get crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if, like @Tireman said, over 500hp and ~600lb-ft.

They clearly aren't going for efficiency but going for a diesel competitor for low end (instant) torque. Although I would love to go 800+mi (1300km's) on a tank I think they are going for the diesel competition here (with RAM/Chevy at least, for that payload/towing, with added efficiency).

Yeah it’s definitely gonna be a torque monster. I don’t see the HP being raised too much. 375-400 is more than enough to tug at highway speeds. I think the torque numbers are gonna be the biggest stat since the hybrid bits are integrated to boost the low end. 395/550 is my official guess. I also must confess, “powerboost” is a silly name.

I agree, I think this drivetrain will all but end the power stroke F-150. I think diesel half tons are gonna be short lived anyways too. Just a steppingstone to better integrated hybrids
