- 2022 F150 KingRanch Powerboost
In all seriousness (I can't even believe my thumb let me type that), 4.2.2 is an OTA that has me, for the first time, NOT happy about OTA being capable of updating my truck while I'm sitting in my recliner completely unaware.
For the last two years I have eagerly looked forward to almost ANY module update of any kind. I started with a 2021 Powerboost that was 20+ updates away from being almost transformed from an unfinished vehicle to much more polished and completed one.
I literally traded in a better truck than I purchased, when this 2022 special order finally arrived.
And admittedly, this first 12 months of the 2022, there have been a combination of a few, not many, FDRS and OTA and Forscan efforts that polished a few edges on it too. But........
This truck is perfect. Everything works so well. It's so complete. Suddenly Ford's autonomous authority to edit/alter/program/delete/etc my truck doesn't seem so exciting.
