As long as you have the green connector you should be fine

Agree with others.. the only delete on some of the green connectored ipma's seems to be park assist (the auto parking one) which you didnt have anyway as you would need more sensors etc. I assume there almost no chance you have a green connectored ipma in there now but work a peak under the dash

Thanks. I took an upside down peek at the current one in my truck and it has a green connector. I'll have to take it out and check the part number.

Took a better look and no green connector, it was brown.

Has anyone tried or looked into modifying your existing side mirrors to add the cameras?
Looks like these are the parts needed. Possibly missing the cables from the camera to outside the housing.

I think you are missing some parts. From what I remember there is some housing parts that are different. Maybe $60 I think. I lucked out and found a pair of mirrors for $550 and sold my passenger non camera mirror for $400($350 after fees). But maybe drivers mirror will be harder to sell as I have many more views on passenger for some reason

If you really look on the threads people sell 360 mirrors for around 300-400

That would be plan B for me. My current mirrors have most of the features except for the cameras. The parts I listed add up to $150-ish, which is more economical.
I will try to take apart one of my mirrors and compare to the parts diagram to see if it feasible.

Write up is done. Video is put together with some slight editing needed. Video is nothing special, but will help a lot I think. I was wanting Jessee to look over the write up I did before I released it. I may go ahead and just put it out there. I have all of the apim and IPMA changes needed as well.

@personalt do you know which of those as-built changes enables / disables the physical button on the dash?

I have all the parts from Jesse list, I just need 2 more bolts for the front camera bracket. And I won’t be doing the CCA for now. Just the 360 and the bed camera.

I feel so bad that I said this and have fucked around on it. The write up is literally done on my drive, the video is put together but trying to edit it I got pissed off and quit. I’ll just publish the video as a bunch of clips together and let it be lol. I’ll try and get this posted today it’s been drug out too long.

Amazing thread. Thank you to all the contributors! I am starting the plan of all the parts I would need to retrofit the 360 camera.

I need help figuring out which IPMA I need to not lose any of the features I have on my truck.

The easiest route would be to get with @Jesse-Infotainment and buy an IPMA. He will pmi it and program it for you ready to install. Jesse is great to deal with and highly trustworthy.
