It's not an F150L topic, but I'd bet there are a lot of us who intend to pull a UTV with our trucks.

I was interested in buying one of the new Lithium-Ion Ranger EVs until they released the pricing which starts at $25,000+fees. I managed to option out a long-range version to $44,000.

Back to Plan B for me which is converting one of the old Ranger EVs to Lithium Ion.

You can buy a Lightning Pro for less than that before tax incentives and just call it a side-by-side XL. ??

I cannot fathom why the components needed to build the Ranger EV cost more than a Leaf, F150L or Bolt.

I guess it's magnitude of scale?

Is this eligible for the EV tax incentive?
No, it's not. The vehicle has to be primarily for on-road use. Two- and Three-wheeled electric vehicles qualify for 10% of the MSRP, up to $2500.
