We had a Lariat loaner when taking our XLT in for service and the seat piping dug into our legs if we were not wearing jeans. So if you wear slacks or if your wife/gf wears leggings or if you do, make sure you test sit and make sure it doesn't bother you.

Frankly, my 2023 STX seats are firm, but nice. Nothing in the ford lineup, including my 2023 King Ranch, compares to the comfort of my 2023 Lariat Lightning. They are just a different seat all together. Supportive, comfortable, and just the best I can recall ever in a Ford product to me. Limiteds and Plattys in the ICE makeup just not on the same level to me. Opinions may differ.

I have a 2024 Lariat. I can definitively say the seats are FAR more comfortable than my 2011 XLT. But, I think that may have to do more with the age and 13 years of difference between the trucks at this point. But, they are SUPER comfortable (The whole truck is, honestly).

When I purchased my platinum in 2021, I had the opportunity to test drive a Lariat and a Platinum back to back and I can honestly say the platinum seats were far more comfortable even on a 20 min test drive. I now have 28,000 miles on my truck. We have made multiple trips between Ny and South Carolina, often straight thru. The only ones that may be better are King Ranch and that would be because of better leather. Just my opinion.

I just got a 2024 Lariat and love everything about the truck aside from the driver seat. This has to be the most awful seat I’ve been in. The sides of the bottom (right along where the leather piping is) hits right on the posterior aspect of the greater trochanter of my hips, the bony points on the sides. The seats were fine for the test drive, but being in them more than 20 minutes makes the nerves in my thighs feel like they’re on fire. I’m not a big guy, and my other cars including my M4 have far tighter and firmer seats but they don’t bug me at all. I’m headed for a trade in at 1,000 miles on the odo at this point.

Haven't tried the high-end rapor seats but my butt dyno rates them

Raptor > XLT and similar cloth > KR, limited, platinum w/ MCS (plastic MCS pad hides the spring) > latter w/out MCS > lariat (that damn piping)

Raptor has more foam under them. Passenger seats are much different w/ the OCSM gel pad w/ carpet foam layer in them between the foam and the spring area. MCS adds a similar spring-hiding effect to the driver seat and further deadens the passenger seat (almost too much).

Sorry for rez'ing a bit older thread but does anyone know/experienced if there's any difference among the various trims/seats about how low the seat height can go?
I am a taller driver and always use the lowest seat position possible.

(I had a 12th and 13th gen XLT before and) I am thinking of ordering a MY25 Lariat or KR. But if the manual or the cloth seats gets lower then I might consider to order XLT instead.

I know, I should go to my dealer and sit in all the kinds, but if possible I try to avoid visiting dealers as long as I can. And also would like to learn your experience/take on it as well :)

Can't say in regards to manual seats, Raptor seats are the tallest if nothing more than having 10mm thicker foam on the bottom cushion. Doesn't really add up to much compressed.
