Picked up my Lariat from Granger!

Picked up my Lariat on Wednesday! Ordering through @Granger Ford and working with @GrangerChip was a smooth and fast experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The 220 mile drive home from Granger allowed me time with my new truck, got 23.9mpg in total on the way back, (forgot to grab a final shot of the total drive) 95% freeway driving on the Powerboost engine. Been installing stuff the past few days (tonneau, mudflaps, screen protectors, etc). Still amazed at all the tech in this truck, coming from a 2013 is night and day. I will have more updates along the way but here’s a few pics!

Congrats. Nice truck. Looks just like my build I’ll get in couple months minus the powerboost. I’m also in a 13 for now and still love the power of the 3.5EB. Can’t wait to see the difference in the new gen EB And 10 speed tranny.

Truck looks great, man! How is the street ride, suspension-wise and in terms of the changing over between electric and gas-power? (I want my choice to be capable of going anywhere, but in the final analysis, it will be mostly a DD.)

I loved my regular ecoboost but this time I wanted the powerboost since it has the built in inverter generator. I do a lot of hunting and that thing will come in handy! Make sure you post when yours comes in!

The ride on this truck is probably as good as any car I’ve ever ridden in. The only time you feel any “truck ride” is over bumps. The switchover from gas to electric is smooth. Sometimes I don’t notice it and have to look down at the tach to see double zeros to notice the engine is off and I’m on battery power. As far as power, man this thing is quick. Faster that my 2013 ecoboost for sure. As a daily driver, this would be the ultimate choice. No worries on that end!
