PB single fuel tank credit

Just received my window sticker for my 2022 SC PB with a 10/06 blend date.

I have the auto start/stop removal. A credit of 250$ for connected nav/Sirius removal AND a credit of 100$ for the single fuel tank.

I was aware that the PB do not come with the largest fuel tank (which love when travelling with my travel trailer).

Can someone confirm that the single fuel tank credit is for the 30,6 gallon fuel tank instead of the regular 36 gallons? I will be very unhappy if I end with a 23/26 gallons fuel tank.

The PB only comes with the 30 gallon tank. You cannot get larger, but you also cannot get less.

I do not see that line item on my window sticker so maybe that is some dealer specific line that has something to do with filling the tank when you get it.

That’s…peculiar. None of the current F-150 models are available with a dual fuel tank, even the 36 gallon tank option (not available on PowerBoost) is a single tank. I’m wondering if this was a coding error, they either recycled an old code and didn't update the descriptions, or somebody picked the wrong code.

Regardless, I guess now we try to figure out whether you ended up with a smaller tank than the normal PowerBoost one. What part description does Parts.Ford.Com show for the fuel tank if you enter your VIN?

This is to do with “Max Tow Package”, on other engines you get the 36 Gallon Tank, but they cannot do that on the PB, so they credit you $100, as you have the regular Tank.
If you don’t have max tow, and a PB you won’t see this

But I’m not sure why they call it Single Tank?

Oh good catch, I missed the max tow. Yup, there’s your answer OP. It’s to credit you for the extended range tank that comes with max tow you cannot have with PowerBoost. Now I really do suspect the “single tank” is just a code that was already in the system they've recycled for this purpose.

I have a Platinum PB with max tow and I do not have the $100 credit.

Mine didn't have this either. It's probably something new that Ford is now offering or a Canadian thing would be my guess.

As I understand things, because of the room the Hybrid Battery takes up, there is only one fuel tank that can fit in the PowerBoost. The 30.5g tank.
