Anyone know parts# + R/R for drive belts. would like ford part #s + generic specs for belts. also need directions for removal. pictures would be very helpful. is the service manual published?
Was unable to get any help from local dealer.

sorry, i dont have part numbers, i dont understand why your dealer couldnt provide that for you.
heres the workshop manual procedure for the accessory drive belt, the coolant pump belt will requre a stretchy belt installer/removal tool.
it looks like you will need two 5mm dowels to pin the belt tensioner in place.

  1. Disconnect the battery.
    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  1. Remove the coolant pump belt.
    Refer to: Coolant Pump Belt (303-05D Accessory Drive - 3.5L V6 PowerBoost (CN), Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Using the 14 mm lug feature, rotate lower tensioner arm counter-clockwise (downward).
    2. Pin the lower tensioner arm to the backing plate using a suitable tool.
      Use the General Equipment: Dowel with a Diameter of 5 mm
    3. Using the 14 mm lift lug feature, rotate upper tensioner arm clockwise (upward).
    4. Pin the upper tensioner arm to the backing plate using a suitable tool.
      Use the General Equipment: Dowel with a Diameter of 5 mm
    5. Remove the accessory drive belt.

Installation

  1. NOTE: All FEAD components and fasteners must be installed and torqued before belt installation.
    Install the following items:
    1. Using 14 mm lug feature, rotate the lower tensioner arm counter clockwise (downward).
    2. Pin the lower tensioner arm to the backing plate using a suitable tool.
      Use the General Equipment: Dowel with a Diameter of 5 mm
    3. Using 14 mm lift lug feature, rotate the upper tensioner arm clockwise (upward).
    4. Pin the upper tensioner arm to the backing plate using a suitable tool.
      Use the General Equipment: Dowel with a Diameter of 5 mm
    5. Install the accessory drive belt under the tensioner arm pulleys and around the grooved alternator (BiSG) pulley.
    6. Install the accessory drive belt over the grooved crankshaft pulley.
    7. Remove the dowels and release the tensioner arms.

  1. NOTE: Check for lumps in the accessory drive belt surface that may indicate ribs are out of pulley grooves and not fully seated in the pulleys.
    After installation, make sure the accessory drive belt is correctly seated on all pulleys.

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

You need new belts already?
Hello,Rob,
Have always done my own repairs ,in old days traveled many miles ,always carry many spare parts and tools. I may be wrong but I think one may not be able to start the engine if a belt breaks. I am lost without repair manual and spares. Just being cautious, Rock Auto claims to have replacement belts for hybrid.
