Got my 2021 Velocity Blue F150 back in November and shortly after taking ownership I noticed a blemish in the paint on the passenger side front fender right on the top edge. There is a pimple that looks to be a grain of sand or some sort of trash or something under the top layer of paint. I love the truck but am not very happy with the snail's pace from Ford to authorize the dealer to correct this problem. Anyone else had problems with getting Ford to take action? I don't want to have to resort to going up the management chain at Ford to try and get this resolved but I will. This should be a no brainer. It is a factory defect that Ford should want to correct quickly to keep the customer happy.

Over the top of the passenger door, I have the same thing, looks like weld slag bits that never were sanded off. No one would notice unless I pointed it out. WHich I did. Which they BS'd be around and basically said 'It's not worth it'.
Which is inline with the rear diff rust response I got. 'No one has ever said anything about that'.

After almost a year of this truck and only 16,000kms, I am keeping it away from the dealership minus oil changes, as I consider it a gem that nothing is wrong besides those issues as of now *knock on wood*.

In summary; yes, get the dealership to fix it if it's visable and no, it wont be returned quickly, they are too busy marking up F150 L's to care about you/

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this on my end.

Thank you for the offer and if you did look into it I greatly appreciate it. I got a call from my dealer's body shop today and found out Ford has given the green light for the repair. I'm all set for next Wed.
