Paint Issues with certain colors?

Picked up my truck on Thursday. I didn’t see any paint issue. Today I decided to do a complete detail on the truck. After washing, I was putting paint protectant on the roof when I noticed the paint issue in the picture below. It is about 6in up from the windshield on the drivers side. It is below the clear coat.

Suggestions? Would you have the dealer fix it? Leave it alone?

I would just give your dealer a call. If they are a good dealership they will fix it. It’s obvious that most people forget to look at the top of their truck on pick up. Should be fine!

Ya I would get that fixed. Almost looks like a frog was laying there during the paint process. ?

I though The chrome by my fog lights was messed up, I didn’t notice it until a cloudy day, because in the sun, it just looked like reflections of the fog light’s lens. I grabbed my 3m polishing compound and it came right out. I was very pleased because it didn’t readily come off when I scraped it with my fingernail.

Did you try a little compound on it? It might just be train schmutz. It’s such a small area, a little toothpaste on your finger is a good test if you don’t have any and might be enough to get it off if it isn’t a paint defect.

Wondering if there are paint issues with certain colors. Saw this entire parking lot of lead foot F-150’s 2 and 3 deep in the lot.

I have discussed the paint issue with my dealer and a fix is being scheduled.
