OTA capability for 2021 F-150 has been confirmed by Ford's head of product development, Hau Thai-Tang, during a Bank of America analysts' conference call last week. (y)

This alone is a huge technology upgrade over the current F-150 and will allow Ford to push software fixes, updates and upgrades to the 14th gen F-150 without requiring owners to visit dealerships.

Per this tweet by a financial analyst listening in on the call. -- "Interesting tidbit from Ford product chief Hau Thai-Tang: Ford's upcoming all-new F-150 will have OTA update capability. (Mustang Mach-E will too.) "

That's why there are two antennas on the back of the cab.

Do they each serve a separate purpose? Or are there two just to maximize signal reception?

I'm a fan of OTA ability. Even better if we'll be able to 1) opt out of certain updates/features and 2) download updates in the background while driving.
