2022 F150 Tremor
As most of you have probably heard; Icon announced their new CDEV kits for the F150 and F150 Tremors a few months back. Back at SEMA last year; we were lucky enough to work with the ICON team and represent their full suspension kit on our Tremor that was on display for the show. During that time; we met with the Icon techs and engineers and locked in to do some testing on their new CDEV kits.

After a few months of use/testing, we have some quick feedback and some reviews on the kit so far! We will be doing some more testing on some off-road courses here in the coming weeks so we will update how it performs on those terrains as well. But for now, feel free to read the blog down below and as always please reach out with any thoughts or questions you may have!

@Hotshot Offroad Any update to how the system is performing for you? Cross shopping this with a custom valved FOX 2.5 Performance Elite DSC and feel like I'm splitting hairs.

Is the Automatic mode really good at handling sudden rough spots? I would expect this type of system to allow you to have the suspension feel taut and firm for handling, but when you encounter a sudden disruption it would adjust to soak it up and not toss you around. Or the opposite where it's nice and pillowy, but when you make a sharp turn everything firms up.

But, I would also assume that a well tuned high-speed and low-speed static damper would have much the same performance.

Bump to this. I have Fox 2.0's and looking to upgrade to either the Icon 2.5 w/ CDEV, or Fox 2.5's with manual adjustment on the remote reservoir

Wow. We are so sorry we missed this comment!
Since we are so far behind you probably got all your answered already so we will keep it short. This kit is amazing. It has ah flex everything we’ve thrown at it from your daily driving to the trails. We hav relayed around with the settings a ton and found that for daily driving we liked a 6/7 split in the adjustments but then dropped to a 4/5 to 4/6 split on trails. If you haven’t got this kit; do it. If you have. Awesome choice!

Quite honestly both will be a pretty big improvement over the 2.0s in our opinion.

We found the 2.0s to be fairly soft for our liking. And off roading they were not our cup of tea.
Now we have tested both fox and icon 2.5s. Both are really really good. So good it’s hard to say which is better. If you like the fact icon gives an EV option so you can adjust from inside and adjust all shocks seamlessly then icon for the win. If you don’t mind changing each one manually, then very close tie.

but for what it’s worth; we have Fox and Icon on sale! Hit us up if you get questions or need anything!

The only reason I'm wary of Icon is numerous complaints about their customer service...but when the time comes I may change my mind. Being able to adjust electronically sounds super nice, but realistically I'd probably find my preferred street adjustment and just leave it there until I hit the trail when I'm airing down anyways...maybe making tweaks along the way. Thanks!
